Key offering and unique difference

  • We offered Minjar Gold a comprehensive proposal, in which the SCR 20 D, WD 40, and the filters WAF 58 C AO/AA and the 470 ltrs tank can fit in the container.
  • We committed to fulfilling the project within their time frame and meeting their project deadline.
  • Worked with the ducting supplier so we had the dimensions of the ducting to fit on the hot air discharge outlet to the side wall of the container.
  • Maintaining a competitive position with the extended warranty
  • Offer them a full maintenance plan as part of the package.
  • Ability to undertake most works in-house from piping installation and electrical works and ducting installation.
  • As a one-stop solution provider, we put ourselves a step ahead of our competitors. Our expertise and ability to work differently and teamwork make us superior in our capability.

Minjar Gold is an Australian gold producer, developer, and explorer who has been operating mines since 2013 with production in Western Australia and Queensland. The company owns 100% of the Golden Dragon Operation in the Mid-West of Western Australia. As gold prices have been rising over the years, the company is in a very healthy position and rapidly expanding its operation and production capacity. They needed to continuously improve their current compressor system.

We had an ongoing relationship with Minjar Gold having serviced their compressors in the past.

They had a project in which they required a compressor system for their dust collection system. The System requires a compressor that has a maximum capacity of 80 cfm. As the site is dusty and they needed it to be in an enclosure the suggestion is to have the compressor system fitted inside a container.

The Scope was for an SCR 20 D with a WD 40 and a 470-liter tank. The key requirement is it needs to fit within the 20-foot container space. We engaged Qube Container to provide us with the container. We got QUBE Container to modify the container so it had windows and ventilation openings for the hot air discharge with ducting and a door so maintenance staff could enter the container. We had to use a special lifting point so the mine site could arrange to lift with Safe Working load tags.

  • ‌As part of the proposal, we had to provide them with a drawing of the container and the windows we were going to fit into the container. At that time during COVID-19, there were limited containers, and had to act swiftly to secure the container. We discussed with them the painting requirement for the container as it needs to have a special coating to withstand the hazards on the mine site.
  • We had to provide them with a drawing of the layout of the compressor inside the container and the piping work we will be doing.
  • Part of the scope is to give them a maintenance schedule and cost of maintenance and parts so they know what their ongoing cost will be.
